This is Jim Lopez of Lions & Acrobats, my favourite guitarist to watch live. His band is releasing an album on Nov 28 at B-Side. Don’t miss it.

Hey! :) I’m so sorry I wasn’t able to reply to this. (I barely check Tumblr now.) Go to our gig on Nov 15 at Greenfield District! It’s a free show with an awesome lineup (Urbandub, Up Dharma Down, Franco, Taken by Cars, and many more). We’d love to meet you guys! :)

Paco and I love to eat, and we’re constantly on the lookout for new places to try. Seeing a photo of the ‘Double Cheese Tsukemen’ from Mitsuyado Sei-Men got me curious, so I decided to drag Paco there one night.
This lovely sight is what welcomes you upon entering the restaurant.
We love how the interiors make you feel like you’re on the streets of pre-war Japan. Awesome interiors like this really set the mood for a great dining experience.
We tried their Gyoza and I don’t have much to say about it except that it was pretty good. Their Ebi Tempura, however, is another story. It was extra crunchy and it tasted as if it was deep fried again hours after it was supposed to be served. I didn’t even bother taking a photo of it.
And the dish that I was really excited for, their Double Cheese Tsukemen! 'Tsukemen' means 'dipping noodles', which is why the noodles and soup are served separately. The thick noodles were topped with some Parmesan cheese and came with a small bowl of cheese sauce. The soup that came with it tasted citrusy. The combination is something that you wouldn’t expect your taste buds to appreciate, but the first bite is mind-blowing. Trust me, you guys have to try this!
Paco got the Char Siu Ramen. This was really flavourful! And as you can see, they serve it with a generous amount of pork. This, by the way, is their bestselling ramen.
I think this is Paco’s “I’m impressed!” face. Hahaha. Mitsuyado Sei-Men is an instant favourite for us.

Hello! Thank you so much! :) My camera’s a Canon 550D (actually, mine was bought in Japan so it’s called Canon ‘Kiss X4’). I use Adobe Photoshop for minimal editing; I already made a preset on my camera to make my photos look more vibrant without editing.
